Terms & Conditions - Knowledge Bestie

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Knowledge Bestie’s websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

By accessing or using Knowledge Bestie, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
This Privacy Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

1. About Knowledge Bestie

Knowledge Bestie is a sole trader business operated by Anon Kepekepe, registered in Ireland under a registered business name.
 

Knowledge Bestie provides an AI-powered knowledge system designed to help organisations store, search, and surface their internal information more efficiently.
 

The Service is intended for organisational and professional use.



2. Use of the Service
You may use the Service only in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful or unauthorised purposes

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

  • Attempt to access data belonging to another organisation

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use
     

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
 
3. Accounts and Access
Access to the Service may require an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • All activity that occurs under your account
     

Access and permissions within an organisation are managed by that organisation.
 
4. Content
“Content” refers to information, documents, links, and data submitted to the Service by you or your organisation.
 

  • You retain ownership of your Content

  • Knowledge Bestie does not claim ownership of organisational Content

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your Content
     

We may process Content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. AI-Generated Responses
The Service may generate responses based on the Content provided by your organisation.

AI-generated outputs:

  • Are based only on available organisational information

  • Are provided for informational purposes

  • Should be reviewed before being relied upon for critical decisions
     

Knowledge Bestie does not guarantee that responses will be complete, accurate, or up to date.

6. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

As an evolving platform:

  • Features may change or be updated

  • Availability may be interrupted for maintenance or improvements
     

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services.

Knowledge Bestie is not responsible for third-party services, content, or availability. Use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Knowledge Bestie’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Customer in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

  • Knowledge Bestie shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

  • The Customer remains responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated responses.


9. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time.

If changes are made:

  • The updated Terms will be posted on this page

  • Continued use of the Service indicates acceptance of the updated Terms
     

10. Termination, and Fair Use
Either party may terminate a monthly subscription by providing at least thirty (30) days’ written notice.
 
Where notice is given less than thirty (30) days before the next billing date, the subscription will renew for one additional billing cycle and terminate at the end of that cycle.
 
Termination does not relieve the Customer of payment obligations for services already provided or for any active billing period.
 
Annual subscriptions are non-cancellable during the agreed term unless otherwise agreed in writing.
 
Knowledge Bestie may suspend or terminate access to the Service immediately in cases of:

  • Material breach of these Terms

  • Non-payment

  • Security risks or misuse


 
11. Fees and Payment
Subscription fees are payable in advance according to the billing cycle selected at signup (monthly or annual).

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.
If payment is not received within 14 days of the due date, Knowledge Bestie may:

  • Suspend access to the Service

  • Charge statutory interest where applicable

  • Terminate the subscription for non-payment
     

12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Knowledge Bestie operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
